I felt kinda embarrassed buying a John Denver CD at BestBuy from a teenager who I knew was ready to roll his eyes, but I do love it. Same for Perry Como's Greatest Hits and Barry Manilow. My musical taste is all over the place...I've got tons of country, lite rock, hard rock, Barbra, Bette, gospel, folk, and lots of 60s and 70s artists: Three Dog Night, Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, and Simon & Garfunkle. And a Clay Aiken CD, too. Hahahahahhahaha. Music keeps me sane. 'Nough said!

I tried a zillion times to get through Interview with a Vampire but finally realized I hated it enough to forget it and move on.

MissCrankyPants,
Well done! Keep on refusing to be ashamed. I went to a CD shop years ago where all of the used CDs were kept behind the counter. I scanned the titles and then asked the man if I could have a look at Bo Diddley, Enya, Cocteau Twins, and Jimi Hendrix. He laughed in my face. Prick.
As for the Godfather movies, I only saw them recently, and 1 and 2 were great. I never saw 3. I love those mafia movies though. Goodfellas is one of my all time favorites.
By the way, congratulations on your new condo. It sounds great.

William,
Are you referring to the photo I posted of Bukowski? I think he was an incredibly sexy man. Of course, my taste in men has always been a bit um, different, than most peoples.

I HATE Ayn Rand. Atlas Shrugged was painful to read but I did because I had to.

I used to pretend I'd seen every Godfather movie, now I just say, "I've NEVER seen it! Can you believe it?" I know it won't live up to the hype.

My music collection is so random but I refuse to be ashamed! I have Backstreet Boys, N*Sync, Neil Diamond, Barry Manilow, Warrant, Poison, Motley Crue, John Denver, Jim Croce and Garth Brooks.

I can't wait to get an iPod and put it on random!

Is it just me or does sandman look like George Carlin's long lost brother

No, not gay. Just afraid of getting your ass kicked, that's all.
Duran Duran was one of my music lies too. All the so called "preppy" girls loved them and so I lied and said that I hated them.
My love for David Bowie, however, was not a lie. I'm still crazy about him.

When I was growing up all the girls loved Duran Duran and conversely most guys hated them...Publicly I held that opinion but privately I really liked their songs...does that make me gay?
