I am glad to hear that your mom has a house with no stairs too. Falls can be so detrimental to people, especially as they age. My mom is only 68, 69 this year, but her health hasn't been great for quite some time. I really think she'll be happy in this house. She's looking forward to having a garden again. I am glad to have her closer to us. That way we can all have our own space and independence with our own homes, but if we need each other we are only a few minutes away. Thank you for commenting. My mom is living in a small ranch with no stairs and it's wonderful for her. She's 83 and has had the hip replacement and walks with a cane. If she had steps to manipulate, it'd be bad news.
