I am spending the day painting Polly’s room. I figured I’d be wise to take advantage of her being out of town. She’ll either be very angry with me when she gets home or very pleased that her room looks so much better.

Later we will cook dinner on the grill and light a few fireworks.

I am hoping that we will soon see the return of the troops overseas, home safely.
