Belle, let's go shoe shopping. I don't even own heels anymore. I need a spa day so desperately. I haven't even carved out the time to get my hair trimmed. It's so ridiculous.
Part of the reason I wore my wedding dress was the laundry situation, the other part was that I didn't dare go into my room to find something to wear in fear of waking Alex. After the fire that wasn't episode I don't want to be blamed for another sleepless day. Usually I am up and dressed before he gets home, but I'd slept in. I want my own bedroom. Seriously.

I would have loved to have seen you cleaning in your wedding dress....what a hoot.

And fuck me pumps? Oh, yeah, it has been like forever since I've had any of those. I think we are both due for a pair, don't you?

Thanks Denise. I've never heard a story that resulted in a rock appearing on the other end. The pom-pom just makes that story for me. That is only because it's not my bare foot, of course.

Well, if it cheers you up any, my sister's dog ate a small rock years ago while I was walking her ("Drop it!" I said, when she picked it up. And I could SEE her thinking, "Hey, if I swallow it, the bad lady can't take it away!"). The good news is that I found it the next day on the stairs with my bare foot, along with the pom-pom from my sister's ski hat. So SOMETIMES these things come right back out the way they went in, without expensive medical assistance.

Hi Cynthea,
I know, wasn't the weather a wonderful change? I divided my time between working inside and out. It is a good thing I didn't go near a plant nursery, as I would have been tempted to spend the entire week's grocery budget on plants. My daffodils are coming up!
I will always keep on with the writing, somehow. Life gets in the way for me to update as much as I would like to.
Thanks for the nice words.
                                        Tammy

Man, that is a good lookin' puppy dog. I love her studied "please do not notice the rock, nothing to look at here" nonchalance.

You might be able to tell I have a large fondness for German Shepherds.

You know, we live in the same area of the country and wasn't the weather nice? I got a SHIT TON of stuff done in the yard. I'm feeling down right well-adjusted and upstanding.

I love your writing, keep on please.

Hi Michele!
I owe you an email. I'll try to do that today. We had a St. Bernard when I was a child but this rock obsession is new to me. It's funny to hear that your German Shepard did the same thing. I have tried giving her balls or something else to carry in her mouth but she will drop all in favor of a rock. The only thing she seems to like better is ice. If I drop a cube accidentally, she will run from wherever she is in the house to try to get it.
Itty Bitty's name started out as Connor. My husband named him and then I started calling him the itty bitty kitty because he was so tiny and things went from there.
I hope that you are doing well.

Tammy...that is so funny about Maggie because I, too, had a German Shepard that was obsessed with rocks. His name was King, and he would literally hold a rock in his mouth until someone threw another one or he had to eat. It was insane. He was the best dog in the world...of course, I was only eight...but to me he was perfect.

Oh, and I would go with P.Bitty...that's the cutest!! My puppy is called so many names, Le-La/Ch-weenie/Ch-wolf/Hamster. Isn't that funny how people evolve the names of their pets? Or People for that matter?
